Yummy food (:

Took a day off work to meet up with Angel to plan our Taiwan trip. First it was off to Chinatown to change money then down to Central for lunch. When meeting Angel, food is always important! As usual, we couldn’t decide what to eat. Then we chanced upon a Jap-Western place. The lunch menu looked appealing, so we went on in. I’ve walked past it a few times, but never went in before.

We loved the atmosphere! So cosy.

We got a quiet little corner to ourselves, overlooking Clarke Quay. I think it’ll be really nice to dine there at night, when Clarke Quay’s all lighted up and alive instead of the sleepy little quay it is in the day.

Ok, the bubble tea cup looks so out of place. But it was a hot, hot day. We walked frm Chinatown to Clarke Quay to save money on transport.

Both of us ordered the same thing. And the food was yummy!

It was a set lunch. With soup, salad, drink and main course. Pretty worth it I would say.

We polished of our food till our plates were clean. The plate on above is Angel’s, my plate was wayyyyy cleaner. It got cleared off before I could get a picture of it. I like, totally finished off the gravy, everything! Angel said the gravy is too salty without rice. Oh well.

When our drink came, we were present with a set of keys which told the cashier which table we’re from. How unique right? And the service there is really good. The people there are really, and I mean really attentive. They clear your plates away the moment you finish, top up your water the moment it’s less than full.

I want to go back to Ma Maison again! Our Omu-rice with beef and brown sauce lunch set costs S$16.50 (excluding GST and Service charge).

Oh, we bumped into Lester at the Cathay Starbucks.

And I finally finished the slide films in my 2 cameras. The films were probably in there for months.
