I think I have a thing for balloons that can float

I’ve been staying up pretty late recently. It all started when I decided to stay up to finish off an assignment since I didn’t have any classes the next day. And the next day I slept late again because… I can’t remember the reason why. Must have been talking to someone online. Think I was Skyping with my parents. And then Friday came and I was off to the city to watch a friend’s band perform, came back and headed off to our Village’s event which was a latin themed party. Ended up all hyped up and couldn’t get to sleep so I headed out with 2 of my friends to get some ice cream (at this time it was already 1am), but we ended up at a 24 hour Subway outlet eating sandwiches. And on Saturday, hung out with my housemates in our unit watching Buffy before heading up to AA’s unit where we were up till like, 4am, waiting for one of our friends to get back. And also because we were too alert to go to bed. And, and, and, we were munching on yummy rice crackers in smoked salmon dip. Mmmm…

I can’t believe our first semester is coming to an end. Time is going by faster than I give it credit for. I’m scared. Partially because soon enough my uni life is going to come to an end, I’m already like one semester closer to it now. And also because my exams are coming soon and I feel very unprepared. Like, VERY unprepared and therefore extremely nervous.

Oh and the balloons pictured, were balloons I took from the latin themed party. I tried to take a huge bunch with me but was stopped at the door and was only allowed to take one. Then a friend gave me one so I had two, and then some random girl gave me the two she managed to get out. Thus the picture of four balloons, think the girl gave hers to me because I whining so loudly that I was only allowed to take one. Haha. Sorry, was a little too high on oxygen. The balloons are now lying on my bedroom floor, the air escaped from it so fast! By Saturday morning, they were already about a metre away from the ground instead of the ceiling, sinking fast.

Had an awesome steamboat dinner at a friend’s place with OCFers and then we played the Wii together. And they were trying to create a Mii that looked like me but they couldn’t find a pair of eyes that looked similar to mine. It was funny because they were trying to hard to get everything right that I was eventually made to sit beside the TV to make comparing the Mii and me easier. Spent the whole night playing the Raving Rabbits, cheering each other on and stuff. Awesome fun! There were 4 controls, and we eventually spilt ourselves into little groups, taking turns to play each of the mini games. Everyone was cheering for each other while we were playing. Lots of laughter was heard throughout the night.

And today’s a public holiday which I spent bumming around the house with my housemates doing nothing productive. Hee.

At the moment, I have this itch to eat. And I’m not even hungry. Gah.
