This place wasn’t on our Melbourne List, but we were told it was good, so off we went!
We ordered a banquet for 2, and an additional dish since we had three people.
And because I have a horrible memory, I remember that the banquet included 2 types of meat, a soup, rice and 2 desserts.
We didn’t even have to barbeque the meat ourselves, the waiters kept doing it for us. They were all so nice and attentive, making sure we had everything we wanted. Except for when we wanted more sauce of some kind, and I think they forgot about it. Oh well, no biggie. As long as the food’s good! Which it was.
Before we left the house, Gohlini (poor thing couldn’t join us because of assignments) insisted that we had to try their green tea and black sesame dessert. You have no idea how excited and adamant she was about it.
I liked the green tea tiramisu, but wasn’t a huge fan of the black sesame. For one, I was never a big fan of black sesame. And black sesame ice cream is actually a little bit salty. So, what it seemed to me was that it was like a savory ice cream. I am a sweet tooth, and I prefer my ice cream to be crazy sweet. The ice cream was good, no doubt, just wasn’t something I’d go ‘I REALLY WANT TO HAVE THAT NOW’.

That green tea Tiramisu looks interesting!
It was really rich! Good strong green tea flavours but not overpoweringly so.
