Met A after church on yesterday. The original plan was to go to this Anime Festival thing at the Suntec Convention Hall. But when we got there, we realised that we had to get tickets for $5. Which, I guess, isn’t really that expensive, but we were just unwilling to pay. So we just stood outside for awhile while A tried to capture a photo of one of the many cosplayers.
Look at all the big, awesome cameras. And they were more than happy to pose for the cameras. Some of them even posed for A when she aimed the camera at them. Although, my camera is just an ordinary digital point-and-shoot camera.
Then there was this book fest upstairs, so we headed there after we got the picture above. The fest thing was awesome, because it was organised by Popular. There was loads of stationary, and for some odd reason. I’ve always liked to buy stationary. Actually, I think I generally just like to buy things. BUT ANYWAY, I think a huge amount of adrenaline was released into my blood stream and I went all high grabbing loads of pens, pencil, erasers, post-it notes and whatever not that seemed cheap or A said Oz didn’t have. Unfortunately, they didn’t have pencil lead for mechanical pencils. Boo.
After walking for so long, we totally forgot that we were suppose to catch a movie together. And I started getting cramps after some Starbucks, cramps totally sapped me of my energy. Had yummy Hokkien Mee at Food Republic while watching Cosplay people walk past. Tried guessing what they were trying to dress as, but we somehow concluded Singaporeans aren’t the best Cosplayers.
The cramps got the better of me and I headed home to rest while A went off to read her comics at AngMoKio. Took a nap, then woke up to shower and have dinner as well as to talk to H who suddenly stopped complaining about coming online. See the things life does to you when you disappear overseas? Haha.
Can’t wait to see how it’ll be like if we all come together again after our studies.
I want to travel. Need a holiday yo.
