Blowing out the candles

Big, big thank you to all my uncles and aunties who organised the lovely dinner tonight! Feel so loved! I thought it was just a dinner thing because I was going away to Shanghai for 3 weeks and maybe you guys had stuff to pass to me to pass to my parents, but it turned out to be a dinner with a birthday cake and everything! Only found out when I arrived and grandma told me about it. Aiyooo, so sweet. Thank you, thank you.

And grandma made my favorite black herbal soup which not many people like. Oh well. It was yummy, and I had like, 5 bowls of it or something. Haha.

Oh, oh, oh. My grandfather said that I had nice… meat (like, meat??? What’s that suppose to mean?! He said it in canto, so he probably meant I have nice legs or something. I don’t know. Hahahaha) to which I turned to my grandmother and replied “Of course he’ll think that way, I’m the daughter of HIS son leh.” In a way it’s his genes in me too. Hahaha.
