Months ago, I was told that my brother sent me something from the army. It arrived like a day late, after I left Singapore.I finally got to see the letter for myself last night.
My mum opened it because she thought that it was some government letter since it had ‘On Government Service’ written on it. But really, government letters don’t come with handwritten addresses on them. What more with such horrible handwritting.
And it turned out to be from my brother while he was still doing BMT during NS. When she told me he sent me Tekong mud, I kinda imagined a small plastic bag full of mud or something, but it turned out to be just a small smudge on a piece of paper. Haha. So anti-climax leh.
